My name is Chris I'm the owner of RK Marine in Salt Lake City, Ut. my main forte is canvas but in my downtime since boating is seasonal here in Utah, I designed and manufacture my invention called StrapWrap. Strap Wrap is a zippered bag that you place your own ratchet straps into on both ends and it protects, as well as holds all that loose tail end that you never know what to do with, or it comes undone halfway through your trip and you either end up with a shorter strap or a mangled mess when you get to your destination, it also tidies up the ratchet strap toolbox and all you have to mess with is the hooks not the whole strap.
