Last week we went over how to take care of your Sunbrella canvas. Today it's about clear vinyl used to make windows.

To clean your windows make sure to use a very soft cloth such as microfiber or very soft terry cloth, for dusty windows you can use Windex or a solution of water & dish soap (1 tsp. soap to a 24 oz. water) in a spray bottle clean as you would a house window rubbing lightly to avoid scratching. For heavier soiled or fogged windows there are multiple products on the market you can buy, but I use Maguire's PlastX cleaner & polish use as directed & remember to use a soft cloth to avoid scratches, when finished cleaning allow to dry completely before storing. When storing clear windows it's best to interleaf the windows with towels or old bed sheets & roll them up together DO NOT FOLD, folding causes creases & weakens the windows allowing them to crack.

Happy Boating!
